Terms of use

Status: Working text for this internal Atlas deployment. Have Efectis legal counsel review before you treat it as the final corporate notice.

These terms of use apply to Atlas, the Efectis-branded workspace running on this deployment.

1. What Atlas is (and is not)

Atlas is the internal AI platform of Efectis Group. It is an instance of Nemrut, the software licensed by Elia Studio to Efectis on an exclusive basis for this organisation.

This instance is operated by Efectis on infrastructure it controls, for its own employees and other people it authorises. It is not a public website. It is not a SaaS product that Efectis sells to its clients or to third parties. Efectis clients do not buy "Atlas as a service" here. You are not a consumer customer of Elia Studio.

Elia Studio sells and licenses Nemrut to Efectis. Elia Studio does not operate this workspace as a multi-tenant cloud sold to you, and does not become the owner of data stored here.

2. Who these terms bind

These terms bind you (the person signed in) and Efectis Group as operator of this deployment.

You may use Atlas only if Efectis has granted you an account: typically an employee, intern, or contractor of an Efectis Group company, acting in the course of your assignment. If you no longer have that status, you must stop using Atlas.

These terms sit alongside your employment or contractor contract, Efectis IT, security, and confidentiality policies, and the professional rules of your trade (including fire-safety and laboratory methods). If there is a conflict, your employment contract and mandatory law prevail. Warranties and liability between Efectis and Elia Studio are set in their licence and related contracts, not in this employee-facing notice.

3. Your account and acceptable use

  • Keep identifiers and passwords confidential. Do not share your login.
  • Use Atlas only for authorised professional work for Efectis.
  • Do not upload material you are not allowed to place on Efectis systems (including client files beyond your mandate, personal data that is not needed, or unlawful content).
  • Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe other users' spaces, or reverse engineer the software except where mandatory law allows it.
  • Treat client names, test data, methods, and reports as confidential, as you already must under Efectis rules.

Efectis may suspend or withdraw access, including when you leave, change role, or breach these terms or IT policy.

4. Professional judgment and AI output

Atlas can search, draft, and structure. It does not replace the expert. You remain responsible for technical conclusions, reports, advice, and anything you send outside the workspace.

Outputs can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You must review them against the applicable method, standard, and your own competence before you rely on them. Fire safety and laboratory work do not tolerate unchecked automation.

5. Intellectual property

  • Software. Nemrut and related components remain the intellectual property of Elia Studio and its licensors. Your use is a licence to use this instance, not a transfer of title.
  • Efectis content. Documents, prompts, methods, reports, client materials, and other content you or colleagues put into Atlas remain the property of Efectis or of the third party that already owns them (for example a client, under the contract that governs that file). Elia Studio does not acquire ownership of that content.

6. Data: it stays here and belongs to this deployment

All data processed in this Atlas instance stays in this Efectis deployment and belongs to this Efectis deployment (or to the third party that already owns the underlying material).

It is not transferred to a public Elia Studio cloud for Elia Studio to exploit as its own dataset. It is not used to train public AI models.

Efectis decides hosting, backups, access, and retention for this instance. Any access by Elia Studio for maintenance or support happens only if Efectis grants it, under contract, and on Efectis instructions.

7. Availability

Atlas is an internal professional tool. Efectis may change features, schedule maintenance, or interrupt service. This notice does not create a consumer service-level commitment from Elia Studio toward you.

9. Changes

Efectis may update these terms. The date at the top is the version in force on this instance. Continued use after an update means you have had a reasonable chance to read the new text.
